Proclip for my HRC rezound mounted to my vector JKE-dock with a ram mount.

I have been using a suction cup mount for a few months now. I love it. I bought it from Amazon. It has never become unstuck and I actually had a hard time getting it off the windshield on the one occasion I had to relocate the mount. It doesn't vibrate and seems very stable. It can be rotated for landscape and portrait mode. The way it grabs my iPhone, I would believe it would grab just about any phone with or without a case. I don't have any pictures of mine in action, but here is a link to the Amazon web page where I bought it.

I paid $20 and I am satisfied with my purchase.

I made a bracket from 22GA steel and bolted it to the back of the Bracketron bracket. I made a small design change to mac attack's template to better fit the Bracketron base and I'm extremely happy with the results!. $14.99 for the bracket and $4.99 for the piece of steel.
The mount has been working great. There's a little bounce to it that occasionally shuffled the song list until I clicked off "Shake to Shuffle" on my iPod. I'm very happy with it! Maybe a heavier gage steel would bounce less.

I have the Bracketron mount (http://www.quadratec.com/products/17017_005.htm) that mac_attack mentioned along with the PH-Grip-It holder. It puts your phone in a great place with the screen pointed directly at the driver. Its also out of the way for your right seater. I would definitely recommend it. To mount it, you'll need trim tools (optional) and a screwdriver.

I finally got around to installing my Vector Off-Road E-dock along with a Ram Mount set-up

RAM-B-231U UNPK RAM W/ U-BOLT FOR 3/4" TO 1" DIA.
RAM-HOL-UN7BU UNPKD X-GRIP UNIVERSAL HOLDER W/ 1" BALL
RAM-B-201U-A UNPKG RAM DBL SOCKET ARM B BALL A LENGTH

The picture is not the best. But the setup works great for my iPhone while it is still in the case.

Have an iPad attachment for the system as well. Works great!

Wanted to show you guys the solution I installed this weekend.

I removed the center dash piece to get the Ram Ball Mounted in there and just put it all back together.

I drilled a couple of holes in the center dash piece and used nut/bolt to attach the diamond shaped ram ball to the dash piece. It's nice and sturdy there as there is a dash mount screw in behind the power window switches in that location, at first I tried the square mount, but it wouldn't work with the plastic bracing in there, the diamond shaped one fits perfectly.

Then all you do is put the rest of the ram stuff together and boom done.

Here's a list of the RAM parts and then some pics.

I have the Vector E-Dock as well. Nothing beats the versatility of this little addition.

I have a HAM radio on it, RAM mounts for phone and iPad and also a mount for my Garmin rhino. The iPad is my favorite because it has the best preloaded maps and once it's plugged into my radio, I can control all the media, volume, maps, etc. with the touch screen.

I am looking for pics of how everyone has their phones mounted especially other cell phone junkies like me :koolaid:
Look no further, this is the best setup =)

So, I got this: http://www.amazon.com/Macally-mCup-...=Macally+mCup+Adjustable+Cup+Holder+for+All+Portable+Devices+in+Vehicle+(Black)

(in case link doesn't work, search amazon.com for Macally mCup Adjustable Cup Holder for All Portable Devices in Vehicle (Black) - $8.25) which fits perfectly in the vent if you pop out the insert. Then to make it wireless to the radio, get this. It allows me to do Bluetooth music streaming, navigation audio, etc. through your Jeep's sound system: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...roducts/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10827&cs_id=1082704&p_id=9472&seq=1&format=2

This is what mine looks like (the Bluetooth deal isn't in the picture though, as I haven't taken a picture with it yet)

No JK but I have been through a crap ton of mounts being a mobile device manager. Currently using a vent clip style with my Note 2 and it's ok. However going off-road I can see it failing in several different ways and during the winter using the heat can provide unwanted heat on your device. I really dislike the suction cup mounts. Ram Mounts are very well built (made in the USA as well) and come in a ton of different mounting options. I have one for my Xoom that mounts the a seat bolt with an aluminum post that comes up between the seat and the console.

From the JK overall offroad vehicle standpoint I would totally make up one of those bezel brackets.

I particularly like the Ram Mounts. You buy just the piece that holds your device or you can buy the system that includes the vehicle attachment portion which range from bolt in, clamp and sunction cups. They are very well made.

I'm picking up a Samsung GS3 next week and I have decided to go with a RokForm RokBed case and mount. The case is a little more expensive than cheap cases but I like the built in mounting system. I also like their Bike mount. I just have to decide where to mount the click-in mount.

The wife wants the iMagnet mount for smartphones for her car. Unfortunately we have not been able to locate one. I would be curious to see how well it would hold the phone when bouncing offroad when we finally get one.

I recently found that the case that I use for my Samsung GS3 snaps perfectly into the clip for my old Garmin mount:

So, I removed the base of the mount from the bean bag thingy, pulled off the center dash cover section in the Jeep, drilled a few holes, & mounted the Garmin base onto the dash cover. I haven't snapped a pic of my install yet, but it works perfectly.
