What is the deal with the JK's with silver bumper covers vs the black bumpers?

that's what the greater minds of jeep came up with when adding more style to the '08 sahara line instead of something more useful. they don't look half bad on the silver ones but are kinda ugly on the others.

I like the silver bumper accents on my 08 Sahara, it is Red Rock and Khaki and I like the contrast...it goes with the silver accents on the inside too. I guess I am weird as most of the people I have talked to want to remove them as they think they are ugly, but mine will remain !

I think it would look better if it was the same color as the jeep. But to each their own...
