They do the same thing in the Ocala National Forest except they don't close it down they have a designated area for Bombing that has a burn all the way around it.
I was out there one very quiet afternoon just puttin along listening to the silence of the woods and then suddenly there was the loudest noise I've ever heard and I looked up to see the ass end of 2 A-6's bookin' along at tree top level. Scared the crap outa me!They do the same thing in the Ocala National Forest except they don't close it down they have a designated area for Bombing that has a burn all the way around it.
i see one of those "us boundery" signs every morning. it's hangin on the wall in my garage. mine isn't as nice as that one, it has about a dozen bullet holes in it. i kept mine as a souvenir from my times down on the border.Three more signs you might not want to see while wheeling. These are from west Texas and Big Bend area on the U.S. Mexico border.
One more...This one really gave me the creeps. I saw it posted after taking a VERY wrong turn down a long desolate west Texas road. I'm glad that I never met up with the person that had so proudly constructed this sign. If they had asked...I would've said that it was spelled perfectly.
hey would prolly spell it that way on accidnt here because check the sig \/\/\/One more...This one really gave me the creeps.
