Satellite Radio Antenna

I think is located in the Dashboard. Im not sure but ill look around and confirm that info.

My antenna is mounted in the middle rollbar section, just to the right of the soundbar. Pull off the rollbar fabic, you will find it.

That's where I saw it in the factory service manual. Does the reception for everyone else suck too? It fine if your out in the open, but driving by a tree it will cut out. I have Sirius my truck that never cuts out.

Mine cuts out when I go under highway bridges for a split second but works in my garage. Go figure!

The GPS receiver is the one under the top of the center stack togeather with the compus.

The sat antenna as previously mentioned is on the passenger side of the roll bar near the b pillar.

Probably the rebar in the bridge...partial faraday cage.

Has anyone tried an aftermarket antenna (like the marine or trucker varieties)? I just moved my Starmate antenna from the hood to the rollbar location and it still sucks. It works for a few minutes and then just stops.

It could be a faulty receiver but I'm wondering if a stronger antenna would help.
