Lots of dune experience. Have a '13 jkur and did great in stock form. Added a 3" lift and 35's and could not belive the difference that made. Would bottom out pretty easy stock but added mopar stage 3 lift which came with fox remote reservoir shocks, front bump stops, and limiter straps which smoothed the whole ride out. Don't forget to install a artek front axle truss (friends granddaughter bent her '12 jku and dealer would not warranty it) Most important thing is tire pressure. It will do a great job stock but tire pressure is key in the sand. I run 10psi but could go to 8. Your rig will let you know, if it wheel hops you need to let more air out. I don't have any experience out you way so not familiar with your conditions but should be similar. Air down and have fun!

Tends to get some whoop sections that creep up on you and send you airborne if going to fast. Can also get unintentional air while cresting a hill with a very steep peak. Sometimes you need to launch the front over a sharp peak so you don't get high centered on the frame depending on ground clearance.

I've been running Glamis Dunes for a long time. The gas pedal and wheel speed is your friend. Turn off your traction control. You want the thing to be able to spin the tires when you want it to. When I first got mine, I forgot to turn off the Trac Cont and I tried to climb a dune face and wanted to do a turn around on the face to head back down (this requires to floor it, spin tries, turn hard left or right, keeping it floored, turning and head back down the dune). I floored the thing, it automatically backed off the gas to not spin the tires and there I was, sideways on the face of a dune, shittin my pants, cursing this POS. My buddy watchin me said "I don't know how you didn't roll the thing. it slid down sideways a little. I backed the jeep out of it waiting for it to flop. Finally got to the bottom of the dune, cursin the POS Traction control all the way down. I then commenced to turn off the Trac Control and never trurned it back on since. When I wanna floor it and spin the tires to get me outta stuff, I wanna floor it and spin the tires. I don't want a computer to back off the throttle. Traction control SUCKS!

Old pic of when I first got it.
