I am a newbie to JKO but not to JK's or Jeeps. I finally bought a 2007 Rubicon unlimited automatic and building it. I am running 2 1/2", 35's, new bumpers and winch. I have Moab trip planned in March and not sure if I am going to have the cash to upgrade the gearing. Any thoughts wheeling Moab with 4.10's? I plan to go to 5.13's....there are tons of posts about that...just not many about wheeling with 4.10's.

With the 4.1 transfer case you will be fine with the 4.10 in there for wheeling.

Yep. With 4.10s and a 4:1, you are still geared lowered than a 2.72:1 (X/Sahara transfer case) with 5.13s when in 4-low.

We regear for on-road performance. You will have no problems what so ever off-road with 4.10s

I wheel with 4.10's and a Sahara transfer case. No issues. Not even on the road...but then again, I don't live in Colorado.

Thats what I was thinking with the 4 to 1 transfer case but wanted other opinions.. I tried to take it wheelin yesterday but all the trails close to Denver where closed! Anyone run Dakan or Hidden valley?
