You can buy a new one for about $1500
you get 60's?I have front and rear Rubi 44's with 5.13's and Crane diff covers up for sale...Axles have ~27000 miles on them, gears have ~4000 miles on them...gears were installed by Off-Road Evolution...$2500 obo
What do you think I could get for the stock axles?...$5-600?...you will be in about $3000 for both axles but you can probably sell your old ones and make up some of that cost.
you could run with the 4.10's for a while all though you would be under powered you can get by just don't expect to ever use 6th.!!
Man I wish I had the $$$ right now and you didn't live on the other side of the country!!!! DAMN!!!!I have front and rear Rubi 44's with 5.13's and Crane diff covers up for sale...Axles have ~27000 miles on them, gears have ~4000 miles on them...gears were installed by Off-Road Evolution...$2500 obo
Well I'll take one part out of that equation for you...the axles will be moving to GA next week.Man I wish I had the $$$ right now and you didn't live on the other side of the country!!!! DAMN!!!!
Well, I have traveled to Atlanta many times and I know I can be there in 14-16 hours...Now I need to come up with the $$$...Shipping would be a killer!!!!Well I'll take one part out of that equation for you...the axles will be moving to GA next week.
Yeah, I have the rear D44...That is what I am thinking and asked earlier...I have been dealing with a local dealership for 15 years now and I have had some issues with my JK and they have been dragging their feet so I may be able to get the axle at cost...The owner's are somewhat "family friends"...We will see...if budget is a factor... why not just get a front axle for now and worry with the rear later? You do have a 44 rear correct? (some early jk's had 35 rear).
Dang, I would also be all over this if I had the money. Hmmm... what can I sell?I have front and rear Rubi 44's with 5.13's and Crane diff covers up for sale...Axles have ~27000 miles on them, gears have ~4000 miles on them...gears were installed by Off-Road Evolution...$2500 obo
Yeah, when planning, I figured I would save myself a ton of money doing it big the first time instead of: axle shafts, gussets, CA skids, drive shafts to fit 44s, and wheels/tires to fit stock 5 on 5 bolt pattern now...and then down the road 60's, new drive shafts to fit 60s, and new wheels/tires to fit 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern...I didn't have any of the stuff up above for the 44 yet and I'd just about had it with the 5.13's and the 35's on the street with my stick. All of that, and I get the opportunity to have the manufacturer install the 60's plus free prototype brakes while I'm still in Cali...sure can't beat it.you get 60's?
