Ok guys. This will be the official thread for our GEN5 JK conversions. We will try and keep all information and questions going in this one thread.

We have been working hard on this and have a fully integrated conversion just like our GEN4 stuff. Plug and play with Cruise, TAP shift, AC, Remote start etc.... working as designed. No modifying anything inside the Jeep or messing with the Jeep computer.

For now here are a few teaser pics to get things going.
This one shown is our original prototype harness, our production harness will be just like our GEN4 and will tuck in behind the engine and be much less bulky.
Its actually a lot of engine to fit under the hood with all the GM covers in place.

Here is a video of some of the new options for the GEN5 conversions.

We have fully functioning GM cruise control and TAP shift without having to modify anything inside the Jeep.
We also have full GM data on the dash display if you have a enhanced EVIC cluster.

Coolant Temp
Oil life
Oil Pressure
Trans Temp

Update: 9-22-18

Ok guys its time for an update. We have been running the GEN5 Jeep JKs for well over a year and are about ready to release the conversion harness and the complete DIY conversion kit.

As with all our our conversion we pride ourselves in designing a product the integrates into the Jeep like factory and allows all of the factory options to function like stock with the minimal amount of modification. This conversion is no different.

It all starts with a 100% complete new harness that incorporates the engine GM power train as well as the Jeep side electronics. What this means is you don't need to find a power train with a GM harness or modify your original Jeep harness, You can pull out your old engine as a unit and sell it complete with the harness and everything.

Our harness is designed to be modular. This means weather you plan on running a 6L80E or 8L90E we have you covered. We will even have a optional fuel pump control module hookup if you so chose to run one.

Everybody ask's. Will my jeep stuff still work? The answer is yes. All of your Jeep functions will still work.
Factory cruise control from the stock switch? YES
Factory AC with no mods? YES
Factory Bump Shifter? YES
Factory dash display? YES Including enhanced EVIC Data
Factory remote start? YES
Factory NAV? YES Even the backup camera

My first thought when I saw a picture of a GenV was that it's physically huge.

I assume you're squared away to run the 8spd auto too?

Yes we can run the 8 and 6 speed.

If you pull the factory plastic intake and coil covers it makes fitment a little easier. The only real areas you will notice the size difference is RH cylinder head to firewall and upper intake cover to cowl. Everything else fits great.

Whats the doohickey on top of the battery?
That’s the factory GM battery distribution-fuse block. It works great in the Jeep and is fully fused.
I’ll try to remember to get some pictures of it.

GEN5 LT JEEP JK 8L90E Tcase adapter

We have finished up our 8L90E Transfer case adapter clocking ring: Its a full billet aluminum adapter with 5 different clocking positions.
It will allow you to run a 241J non rubicon case on a 8L90E while utilizing the factory GM tail housing and trans mount.

This adapter clocking ring can also be used with a 6L80E-6L90E for custom applications. Basically GM bolt pattern to Jeep pattern.

GEN5 LT Jeep JK Adjustable Engine Mounts

We have finished up our GEN5 LT adjustable engine mounts for the Jeep JK.



GEN5 LT adjustable engine mount kit for the 07-18 Jeep JK. This is a complete mounting solution and includes the engine side brackets, frame side brackets, HYD rubber mounts and hardware.

These mounts are adjustable forward and back on the engine side as well as left to right. You can also raise the engine by adding shims under the rubber mounts. The brackets have a locating pin to center the rubber mounts but if you need to shift the engine from side to side you can rotate the mount and the pin will drop into a slot and allow for about an inch of side to side movement. They are also clearanced to allow room for the grounding stud on the block.

These are weld in mounts. We found the weld in mount to be preferred over the bolt in mounts utilizing the Jeep original mount. This allows us more flexibility for placement of the engine and more clearance for the AC compressor. The GEN5 engine and accessories are a little harder to package into a JK and having adjustment on placement is very useful.

This kit come with either standard hydraulic rubber engine mounts or our HD urethane mounts for the guys making big power.

UPDATE: I haven't been posting much lately so I guess its time for an update.


We have been doing the GEN5 conversions in house for a while and have everything working as it should without modifying the stock stuff.
All the gauges including the EVIC display
stock cruise control buttons running the GM cruise.
Stock cruise light working as it should
TAP shifter from either the cruise buttons or the 12+ bump shifter
AC working from factory controls and reporting to the GM side.
GEN5 AC variable pressure solonid operational
Pentastar fan controls for 07-18 JK
Reverse lights correct including data for the radio backup camera
Support for either the 6L80e or 8L90E


Basically everything that worked with our GEN4 kit works on the GEN5 conversion.

We are finishing up the instructions and all the little things for the kit. Once released, the kit will be complete with all the parts you need to do the conversion. The harness will be our custom brand new plug and play system with all the special features built in. The harness will lay out like we did the GEN4, hotrod style hidden behind the engine with the main branches coming from the rear up both sides of the intake. This looks a lot better than the GM style that runs in front of the engine and will allow you to use the factory engine covers.

This system is designed to work with the stock calibration GM ECU and TCM*. It will have provisions for all the GM emissions, so when assembled with the correct emission components the monitors will run and pass. At this point in the game we can't guarantee it will pass in your state but we are doing everything we can to make everything function like original.

GEN5 Beta kits have been going out.

Optional accessory layouts are being configured and tested.

Optional power steering layouts are being tested.

Everything else is working great. Full cruise control, TAP shift - Bump shift, EVIC data display, PWM fan operation ( Pentastar, Camaro, Spal ), GM alternator control, Full AC control with variable solenoid, electric power steering on the JL-JT, Variable fuel pump control on the JL-JT.
