I have the first gen style rock krawler tie rod, and I want to replace the jam nuts on it since i've rounded them out/whenever I go crawling I seem to hit a rock on the tie rod, and it twists the jam nuts to fuckup the orientation. anyone know what size jam nuts i might need, and where I might get some? I know the ends are these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HPXR5S/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but my internet-fu is failing me and i cant figure out the tpi on em

also since im captain retard, do I need left hand or right hand threads for em?

You might want to double check on those ends. I also have the RK steel tie rod and I use the Moog ES3624. The ends you listed would use a 7/8-18 RH jam nut. I'm sure you can get at many places, I would just call Ruffstuff if you can't get one locally.
If you are using the ES3624 then the thread would be 1-18 RH. If I were you, I'd call RK to see if they ever made a tie rod that accepts a 7/8" tie rod.
any good parts store should be able to get them.

heh, wouldnt that be awesome if I was using the wrong size. I guess I'll reach out to RK. the joys of buying used parts >.<
I called RK and they made me a new set of jam nuts for my gen 1 tie rod.
talked to rk, the TREs I am using are correct. I just need to get some 7/8 - 18 tpi right hand jam nuts.
