RK Tie Rod & SS

Installed my RockKrawler tie rod tonight and have a quick question. How are you guys mounting the steering stabilizer to it? I'm assuming I need to have new u-bolts made?

I just hooked it to the drag link for now... but don't want it to stay there.

Thumbs up for anyone considering this part, the jeep drives better! The factory tie rod must have had flex in it or something as it seems to be a little tighter.

You didn't get new u-bolts for the stabilizer? Check your packaging.
Mine came with them and I'm very pleased with the whole setup.

Prope, I had an extra set just like them in black from some project years ago, and I looked for them but who knows where they are now, so sorry I couldn't help you out.
Make sure you get the locking bolts and the metal washer parts that go on the other side when you order them.

I think you're right about the factory drag link, my Jeep feels tighter in a sharp hard turn with the replacement drag link/tie rod. Especially if it's bumpy pavement or rough terrain.
In building up a stong offroad suspension of moderate lift, I've been thrilled at the improvement in on road manners of the vehicle, despite the lift.
