I have RIPP long tube headers, resonator and a magnaflow catback... Its not the magnaflow for the jk, its a magnaflow that sits in the stock muffler location and sounds like rice at 3-4k. What cat backs are you guys running with the long tubes that sounds nice and isn't in the stock location?

I'm running the MBRP off-road with mine as well. It's loud as all hell at 3200+rpm and does get a little ricey up there, but is nicer down in your normal running range.

i have the mbrp too with the headers an it's annoyingly loud imo

I have no resonator and the Dynomax VT.

It is just about perfect in loudness but it does have a 'rice like' sound to it at 3-4k rpm. I think once the resonator is removed, it buzzes like that.

Have you had to smog yet? if so how did you pass? It is my understanding that long tubes are not legal in CA?
