Running 33s on 09 JK, anything good or bad to say about Teraflex 2.5" budget boost or the Revtek 3" suspension system???? Leaning toward revtek for no other reason than the extra half inch for about the same price. Any comments either way will be appreciated before I get one.

I have the Teraflex 2.5 with 35's and it is a great setup. If you do 3" and keep the 33's, I personally think the tires look would look too small. Depends on what kind of wheeling you do.

If you go with a TeraFlex 2.5inch Coil kit you will much more lift than what you paid for;) You will get the extra half inch and then some. Check out this JK on a 2.5inch Coil kit!

Does that kit include just the coils? Did you use your factory suspension with it or where other parts changed out in the suspension? How much was the 2.5" Teraflex coil kit and where did you find it?

Here's another good option. These kits have worked and performed pretty great on the few I've tested.

Warrior 3" Lift. Starts at $769, shocks extra or go without and pick your shock of choice.

Includes:
3" front and rear coil springs
Heavy Duty Fixed Lower Control Arms (front and rear)
Front and Rear Swaybar Endlinks
Front and Rear Trackbar relocation brackets
Rear Brakeline extensions
Rear Coil Spring lower retainers
All necessary hardware and instructions
(optional H60.5MM Warrior Shocks)
Fits 35x12.50's

Just thought I'd throw that option out there.

I did the teraflex budget boost (spacers and shock extensions) on my first JK. Worked like a charm for super cheap. Here's a couple of pics with it on 34" Maxxis. I got new wheels with 4.75" of backspacing...no trimming, no rub.

Here is mine

I got the teraflex 2.5 BB w/ shocks and added a 1 inch body lift from MORE. I'm running 34's. Had it for over a year now and have ZERO complaints.

My suggestion is go with teraflex with spring or BB.

TF BB with HD springs in front, pucks in the rear and TF shocks;

on 33's

on 35's

Couldn't be happier with the price/function.

I am a Teraflex fan. I bought my first 3" lift kit for my Brothers TJ and liked it so much, I went out and bought myself a new 09 Rubicon Unlimited. After 200 miles, I took my Jeep in to a buddy and had the Teraflex 3" lift kit with Flex Arms and Shocks installed with 1" spacers (Teraflex part #1256200). This works awesome and rides great but I did have a problem after my first off road trip that was kind of a fluke. I flexed out the Jeep enough that the factory rubber boot on the factory front drive shaft hit the factory skid plate and cut it. To my surprise, you can't buy a new $5.00 rubber boot for this drive shaft, Jeep expects you to buy a new drive shaft. No biggie as I was planning to buy new driveshafts anyway. I was told that the JK can use factory drive shafts with no problems as long as you don't lift over 3". Since I was at 4" due to the spacers, I had a problem. I therefeore, now have JE Reel front and rear driveshafts and love them too. I would pick the Teraflex kit if I were you. Great quality and a solid company. Here is a link to some pics of my Jeep for you to check out.
