JK'ers,
I was posed a questions and didn't have the answer, so help me out..

Q: With upgrading my Ruby suspension to the AEV; I have the old springs, shocks, steering components and tires. Can a two door JK (X) install the springs and shocks and get the "rubicon" lift and feel (1 1/2 to 2 in)?

I don't want to let these parts go and come to find out that it will not work..
I have heard people say that they have replaced the front springs (of a 2 dr)with the rear springs (of a 4 dr) to offset the heavier bumper w/ winch..

Just need clarification...

Thanks

can't put rear springs in the front, they're different diameters and use different perches
we just put my old 4dr rubi springs and shocks on gijoejds 2dr X and along with his 2.5" spacers, he ended up with about a 4" lift
so you could probably just use the front 4d springs to offset the winch on a 2dr, but cant swap end to end
