Hey guys, just out of curiousity, are retreads legal on the steer axle in PA? I know they aren't on heavy duty trucks, but I looked up the state inspection laws online and couldn't find anything saying they were illegal in the front of passenger cars and light trucks. Did I just miss it? I'm having a hard time getting the money together for some bigger tires, and was giving retreads from Treadwright some thought, but didn't know if they were legal or not. I've heard lots of good about them.

They are DOT rated so I belive thats all that matters.

I currently have a set on my rig, I have been happy with them. And they were alot cheaper than the real deal!

Just be sure and request matching sidewalls.
