Anyone have information regarding what needs to come out/apart to remove a passenger side steel fender? Hood need to be removed?

Also will a factory plastic flare come off without removing the plastic rivets?

Check smittybilts site for install instrux for their mad max fenders?

As for the liners, they just rivet to the plastic fenders so you might could remove them together.

If you have factory rubicon rock rails they will need to come off. Two 10mm bolts at the bottom of the fender, two 10mm bolts in the door opening. remove the wiper arms and remove the two clips in the middle of the cowl vent panel that hold the plastic screen to the cowl panel. remove the four 30mm torx bolts on top of the cowl vent panel and remove the vent panel with the hood open. remove the two 10mm bolts under the cowl vent panel that hold the upper portion of the fender. remove the 10 mm bolts along the top edge of the fender including the ones that are in the plastic tray. remove the 10mm bolt on the underside that runs through the wheel well liner and the final 10mm bolt that hold the front edge to the radiator support near the mount bushing.

oh and no you do not need to remove the plastic flare to get the fender off

I might have missed two bolts on the bottom in the wheel well that hold the flare reinforcement to the inner structure
