Just got a new JKU for the wife. We might do some LIGHT trail riding around n it, but I've got crawlers for the rough stuff. I want to run 35s on the new JK. We're looking at wheels with 3.75" to 4.00" back spacing, and DO NOT want to trim or replace the factory flares (they're color matched and she wants to keep them).

What is the minimum amount of lift needed to accommodate these tires? Would also like recommendations on a kit that will maintain a fairly plush ride, or at least as good as factory. Thanks in advance...

2.5" with proper bumpstops if you are going off road at all. if never going off the road probably get by with 1.5-2" but any offroading and it will rub. 4.5-5.2" backspacing works too.
