i have a 08 jk 6sp and i was wondering if anyone could tell me why i could be sitting at a light and the jeep just stall out of nowhere. i give it some gas and it goes away. its kinda running rough to.

well, I don't know how it is on the JK, we have more computers, but on my Dad's XJ that was indicative of a failing or failed throttle position sensor...

what ever happend to the throttle cable. seeing that it is a stick the engine doesnt need tho tell the tranny anything.

not sure but on my 99 tj with the 3 speed auto it would do that when the transmission fluid was low.
