Always wanted a wrangler and when the opportunity came to get into one I jumped on it. Bought this black 2013 Sport 6-speed bottom of the line JK from the lot with only a few miles on her, with the intent of making it a moderate build to suit my needs.

Installed
RC 1.75" BB
31" Duratracs
OE Steelies painted Gunmetal
Chopped flares
SOLID D30 Cover hand painted green
Home fabbed front mid width bumper with stigner/shackle mounts/6" 100w lights
Home fabbed rear bumper
Home fabbed .188w sliders
Home fabbed windshield light mounts w/ 6" 100w lights
Home fabbed hood mounted Hi-Lift
Home fabbed quick disco's
Home fabbed auxiliary fuse box
Cobra CB w/ 4' Stainless whip
1500w Power Inverter in mini trunk
Smittybilt G.E.A.R. tailgate storage
Mesh grill mod
Silvania Silverstar XFE headlights (better, but still sh!tty)

Waiting in garage for install
Rock Krawler 2.5" Stock Mod w/ massive trackbar
Bilstein 5100's
Rock Krawler correction wedges and coil retainers
Teraflex rear end links
Teraflex grab handles
EVO MFG LCA skids
EVO MFG C-gussets
8' of L.E.D. strips to be used as rock lights
Back up lights for rear bumper
15x8" steelies
AEV geometry brackets

Next order
Teraflex exhaust spacers
35x12.5R15 GY MTR/K

Soon After
Adams driveshafts

Let the pics begin

So cute

As soon as it hit my driveway I got the urge to do some stuff to it. I wonder why?

Started off by painting the stock steelies Gunmetal and installing the Duratracs from my previous WJ. Decent DD setup. Alos made my own quick discos with clevis pins.

Built my Hi-Lift Hood Mount

Got tired of looking at it, being so small with such massive plastic pieces... so I busted out the sawsall (at about 3000km on the clock at this point)

Always good to have a shovel handy! This mod was more to try my first weld than anything really...

Built some brackets and wired up some 100w windsheild lights just before my camping/fishing trip.

The next day my buddy showed up, we hopped in the Jeep and went wheelin. Being stock this thing went everywhere. Sadly this is my only pic, long story short, trees 7' apart + wet boulders + 14psi =

Fun stuff, but it lead us to the top of the mountain

Got back home and ripped the front carpet out since it was kind of wet having driven in 2' of water with no doors, duh! Bedline looks better anyways.. and realized the shovel looked stupid so I painted it black.

And added mesh to protect the rad

Seeing as the Jeep only has 5700km I will wait before lifting and such but future plans are as follows..

Rear bumper build (will be selling)
Front bumper build (will be selling)
Adding 3/16 plate to OEM gas tanks skid as I've already managed to dent it
Sliders (will be selling)

After that the order all depends on funds but 35's, rims, winch, 1.5-2.5" lift.

Will be adding as I go along.

Comments/criticism welcome! Also what people may be interested in that I could build for them.

Thanks for stoppin by!

looks good, plans look good as well. But i am pretty sure you are going to need a yellow star if you plan on selling your stuff on here, may wanna look into that.

Ok good to know, probably not going to sell any doors as they are too much of a hassle to make for the money. But I will be selling the rest eventually so I'll get in contact with whoever when the time comes.

If I need a yellow star I might as well get a business name lol
I seriously doubt anyone is going to pay $200 for a set of your homemade half doors. It is cool that your doing some fab work and getting your practice in and working on developing your skill sets, but you are no where near ready to be fabbing and selling your creations.

Oh I know I wont get 200$ for them but you know how it goes when selling stuff, put a price and people usually offer half lol. And no im not ready to start selling bumpers and stuff but its the plan for later on, once I get good TIG welding done, and get a tig welder haha

What a dick thing to say! Shots as expensive as some one wants to pay for it. Every one has to start some where, and I think he's doing a damn good job for just starting.

GOOD WORK! Keep it up!

Thanks! Gonna be starting my front bumper soon, just gotta get some plate.

Got around to installing my Solid diff cover. Got dark so no installed pics but here is the way I painted it.

Got started on my front bumper, not quite finished yet still need some shackle mounts to get rid of the stock tow hooks and shovel, incorporate my fog lights and get tubing for a stigner. Not that heavy actually, prob 35-40lbs. 3/16 steel with 3 brace points inside.

Once I get a winch I'll either put it on top of the bumper or sell this one and build another with a sunken winch.

More building going on, cut some 3/16 for LCA skids and a rear stubby, just gotta weld em up. Also building some shackle mounts for the front bumper. And of course instead of doing one at a time I'm halfway done all three :suicide:

Got my shackle mouns for the front bumper done, now just need some tubing for the stigner and some 5/8 shackles since mine are all too big

Didn't think I'd have time to finish it since I went fishing all day Saturday but I managed to get it done.

Going to the dealer tomorrow... possible water pump bearing gone bad
Made some templates to add corners to the rear stubby, bit more protection. Also put my shackles on the front.

Oh ya rebuilding the rear bumper, didn't like how blah it looked

Will be adding lights and mounts for this & that, no recovery points as I'll get a hitch and add a shackle to that. Tire carrier on hold, may just keep it in the back of the jeep
