Let me see if I recall this correctly, Rebel prefers the Toyo's because of the heavy duty side walls and their resistance to being cut while rock crawling. They also wear like bricks.

Now with that said let me share some personal experience with these tires.

With a load range of E and being 10 ply these tires are f'n heavy. My recommendation to anyone thinking of going with tires is to ensure they can lift them first to mount and dismount on their spare tire carrier. If one goes with these tires I would also recommend that while on a straight piece of road, you air down to 6 PSI, and roll very easy in a straight line to "crush" the sidewalls in a little bit. Why? Even at 8 PSI, these tires have very little sidewall flex in them until you "crush" the sidewall.

Rebel will put any tire on you desire, this is just their preferred tire for wheeling out here with the conditions we normally face while on the trails.
