This is an abbreviated summary of where we are today. I'll update it as we work on the build.

The Lj was stock when I got her, I gradually built it up to running 37's on a built 30/44 combo. But, I was breaking pars and rolling it too much, so I decided to turn her into a trailer queen.

This is how she sat on 37's.

Aggressive driving style caused me to end up like this pretty often.

So, I bought this for a DD, and off we went.

First step was some real axles...

HP 60 with a Detroit

Shaved and plated 14 Bolt with Detroit

We modified the RE LA kit to run these axles. We converted the rear to a triangulated three link.

We went with a PSC full hydro steering setup

And that catches us up to where we are now.

I mostly wheel at Crozet, she preforms OK, but has a long way to go

Next on the list - outboard the rear shocks, air bumps, and relocate the tank rearward.

Eventually I would like to get a lower COG, change to airshocks, and pick up an Atlas.

Like the rig, my buddy that has a LJ is going a similar route. I have a TJ that I am streching out and I have a set of '79 dana 60's I am putting under. Just out of curiousity do you remember you WMS to WMS measurement on your axles?
