Does a 2007 JKU have the brake controller plug ready for a brake controller like the Cherokee?

Anyone ever install a brake controller on theirs?

Read online on a few where ppl had to run wiring from the fuse box under the hood to the brake controller. That was for a 2000 LJ though.

I'll try that...

I'll give that a try... those new plug & play setups on some vehicles are really nice...

Thx :)

It's actually very easy, installed one on my tow rig.

All it needs is 12V to power the unit, brake signal tapped off your brake pedal (wire above the brake pedal), ground, and brake output that goes to the receptacle out back (12V signal from controller to trailer brakes).

Of course you need 12V out back on the receptacle for constant voltage at the trailer, and your typical turn/stop/lights trailer wiring.
