Has anyone installed a Yukon limited slip dif in the Dana 44? I had 5.13 installed with this limited slip and am getting a lot of chatter. I’m still working the break in process for the 500 miles. But just simple lane changes and turning it’s making a whole lot of noise.

I’ve been in several vehicles with positrac in them and this is by far the noisiest.

The place that did the install did use the 80-90 non synthetic gear oil with the additive.

In my experience on a ECTED I had to add an additional slip lock tube even using the gear oil that says it is designed for LSD.

Just for clarification this is the noise I’m referring to.

This is my Jeep.

Just add more additive to smooth it out, that's typical of an aftermarket LSD that has a lot more bias built in. No big deal.
