Weighing out the pros and con's of 37's or 40's on a JK/JKU. Obviously, the road drivability lessens with increased tire size. Curious to know those who have made the jump to 40's, how many then end up on a trailer verses being driven daily, or at least driven to the trails.

Not looking for a discussion on the appearance, cost, axles, engines, mileage, etc in going with 40's. Just the ROAD drivability of 40's (we know they are awesome on the trails)

Choices:
Daily Drive.

Drive pretty much only pavement is to the trails.

Drive only on the trails - she's a trailer queen.

Daily driver great on the street, stops way better than a stock JK and 40's sure makes some trails easier..Rubicon. Draw back is narrow trails its to wide for some.

PR 60-80 and 5.38 auto 6400lbs empty..soon to have a LS.
