I haven't found any recent threads on this - is anyone running Rocker Radials on their JK? Earlier reviews seem positive, but I'm wondering why there isn't more chatter. I'm looking to replace my Toyos.
Probably going to stick with 35x12.5x17's.

Love mine, 35" rocker radials, been running them for about 15-18000 miles, since december. Mostly on road, hook up in mud, rocks, dirt, snow and ice never been in the sand but Im sure they woud do good. I need to measure the tread depth but they still look great. I rotate them every 3000 when I do an oil change.

i want to get me a set so bad, but i don't wheel as often as i should. i need a better highway tire. how many of you guys are driving these more on pavement then offroad?? would love to get a 37x13.5x17 but might just go with my mtr's if they ever come off of epic backorder!

I'm absolutely in love with these tires. How do these compare to the Irok radials? And where are y'all buying these tires at I'd like to see the pricing on them. At first I was planning on stock rubi rims with iroks but they start at 13.5 width for the ones I want so crossed that out then moved on to the 37x12.5 goodyear mtr kevlar, but I just read that you can get these tires here in a 37x12.5x17 ?!?! I think I finally made my solid tire choice. I love both designs on this and iroks but I'm leaning towards rockers

these tires are not for everyone and they can take massive amounts of weight to balance. Block bought my set after only a little bit of use from me. he loves them and i hated them so take it for what its worth. if you run super swampers on the road you will not mind these.

for me it was to much and alot of weight per tire. i lost well over 10 pounds (i think 16 lbs) a tire going from a 37 x 12.5 rocker to a 38 x 14.5 km2. other then being about a inch wider they are the same height as the km2's. it was just to much weight for the rear flanges wheeling as well (bent 2 and none so far with km2's). they were great tires offroad though and look bad to the bone. i miss them and i hate them all in the same sentence.

Were these the aftermarket rear axle flanges you bent? I have 5 37 rockers in my basement waiting to be installed, however I was going to replace my rubicon F/R shafts first.... I also was going to use Dyna beads for tire balancing to try and cut down on weight. My buddy was running these with his stock rubi shafts for about a year now and hasn't had any problems until recently when he busted his front shafts. Plus some shafts are guaranteed for life so if you to bend or brake it my understanding is it would be replaced under the warranty...

Simply awesome tires off road, nice on road, took a lot of weight to balance. Not quiet but the hum doesn't bother me, and people are always looking at my Jeep now saying how sick it looks. I have spent thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours building up my Jeep and these tires finally make my build look legit.

These are some of the sickest tires out right now, in my opinion. :p But like codysanders said, these aren't for everyone. Running the 17x12.5x35's here,.. and hopefully some more people can compare with these.

Anyways, they are big and heavy. Tire place told me over 30grams was needed to balance, so they threw in the beads instead of weights and we called it good. One tire (my spare now) even had a weight patch of rubber added at factory to try and balance these puppies... Once I go over 65km I'll get the left right left right left right in the steering wheel from the tires... What's odd is sometimes they'll ride smooth at that speed and higher.. other times, no so much, at, all. :bounce: So as long as you go slow, you'll like these tires a lot! They offer a nice hum as well! Faster you go, the louder. It's pretty bad ass though. As for anything offroad with these tires, you simply won't be disappointed. Tear it up technology sure tears it up.

Also... let me save you some paint and rear door displeasure. DO NOT mount a Pitbull Rocker on your stock spare tire carrier. Even with a smittybilt extension bracket. Plan to buy a rear bumper with tire carrier attached. :smokin:

On my 2nd set of Rockers right now...37x12.50-15 radials on 10" wide rims:

First set of PitBulls were Bias 33x13.50-17 Rockers, they were INCREDIBLE. Never got stuck in a year of wheeling.

I read a LOT of great things (magazine articles, reviews, etc.) on the Rocker Radials and put these new ones on 2.5 weeks ago, and they are quieter and easier driving on the highway. 3 of them took 9.75 oz., and the 4th took 3.5-4 oz. Still a good ride though...smoother.

I look forward to using these on the trail in the near future and really test the radials out (not to mention testing out the 4.88's and the Detroit locker in the rear :bounce: )

Overall great tires though, I'm a customer for life without a doubt. Hopefully in 2 years the JK will get coilovers, D60 front/GM corporate 14 bolt fully floating rear, Walker Evans beadlocks, and 42" Rocker Radials...we'll see! Who knows maybe even a 4BT, lol! :D

Here's some shots that should definitely sell some 37's. With the 3 1/2" lift and Metalcloak fenders, there's plenty of room left for something bigger than 35's.
These tires kicked butt. I ran them at 12PSI in mud and on rocks. Unfortunately, I didn't get any good video or pix in the mud. Just a few poser shots.
