Picture Request.. Toyo Open Country A/T or M/T in 285/75/R18 size

It looks like Toyo is now making a 35" tire with a recommended rim width that allows for use on the stock 7.5" rims. The A/T's don't appear to look agressive enough, but I haven't seen them on a jeep yet. Also, I like the M/T's and have seen them on a jeep, but just not in this narrow of a size. I'm wondering if the M/T's being 11.5" wide would look too skinny.

I looked around on the web and found this picture of a Toyota Tundra with the 285/75/18 (35/11.5/18) Toyo Open Country A/T's. How do you guys think they'd look on a 4-door unlimited JK with a 3" lift?

There are plenty of people running a 12.5 tire on the factory rim, if you want a 12.5 go for it!
I know that people do it and I definately would, but am worried about issues with tire shops putting them on the factory rims. I've heard about shops like Discount Tire refusing to mount tires that recommend a rim width wider than 7.5" on the stock rims. Also, I'd still like to be able to use any warranty that comes with the tires and don't know if that would be voided. Do you know anything about this?

I for sure don't know about everyone, but I have not seen one person say they have had a problem. I also don't see why any tire shop would have an issue with mounting them.
The reason I've heard is because of liability due to tire failure b/c of excess heat. I guess it'll have to be something that I'll just make a run at and see if they'll do it without giving me problems.
When I went to Town Fare Tire and was asking to mount 35x12.50 on my factory rims for 3 weeks till my rims that I ordered came in they said no problem. 7.5 is the minimum allowed width that can accomadate a tire of that width. And I dont see how that would void the tire warranty. The only thing that would void it would be premature wear due to worn parts such as front end suspension.
The "look" of the tire shouldn't be as important as how they will perform in the conditions that you expect them to be driven in. If you were going to get those tires for doing a lot in mud then of course they may not be very practical. They do look like a good on-road/ AT tire though.

As stated- I believe that the problem regarding rim width is concerning safety/ liability of the tire shop- not necessarily tire wear/ warranty issue- Keeping in mind that any of those aspects can likely be attributed to another. I would think that the big chains (Discount, etc) are not as likely or able to simply mount up any tire to any rim- unlike some of the smaller places that are just begging for your business- and may not be as restrictive as the big guys are.
