Wanted to see some pics of you guys with the mud grapplers in action out on the trail. The more I read about these and the more I see them, the more I like them. Now if I could only afford them:)

FWIW my tire guy runs these on his wifes truck, he likes them but doesnt get many miles from them.

They last forever on Jeeps.

Clackey is over 30k miles on his set.

They are loud though... so they aren't very practical for Nancy's who complain about loud tires.
I was gonna say, I thought these things were actually supposed to be a descent wearing tire for what they are. I'm not worried about the noise, years of working with air tools is kinda taking its tole on my hearing anyways:) Makes it harder to hear the old lady when shes nagging me about my driving too:D
I love mine
but yeah, they are loud

Isnt it nice

yeah his wife has them on a 3/4 ton 4x4 chevy diesel.
They sound just like boggers. The first time I rode with Clackey I was surprised by how loud they are.
I have heard on heavy trucks, like a lifted F-250 or 350 they can have wear issues but even then it is probably more due to not rotating and not keeping up with air pressures.

A Jeep, which is comparatively speaking , alot lighter they are known to have excellent wear.

One more draw back is that they are HEAVY.

They actually get louder as they wear...

Mine are just now starting to "Come Alive" at just about 3k miles.

I was in his with about 29k miles on them.. LOUD haha WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I imagine they aren't the greatest in the rain either? or the snow/ice for that matter. Can't be any worse than the MTR's I had on my old jeep though.
SDMF, love the avatar by the way! someone had that on another forum I used to frequent when I had dodge/cummins. His was the full version though where the guy beats his head till his eyeballs are flying and eventually his head disappears in a bloody mess:) Ok, I find it funny anyways:D

Mine are excellent in the rain... and it rains here like a fawking rain forest.
I had to take a bunch of frames of the gif out so I could use it here. The file size limitations wouldn't let me use the full one.
Sweet, funny stuff! And my gf wonders whats wrong with me:) And I always tell her, hey, you stick around:thefinger:
haha, the original file has a chit ton of frames....when I was shrinking them down my wife was like what the hell is that???? I was like um, I am making an avatar for the forum from this file...hahahaha she just shook her head.
FWIW - One of my good buds had a set of his Ram (35's) on 20 inch rims and those things hummed like a freaking freight train.

Awesome on the dirt, but it drove him crazy on the road and he sold them for some AT's.
