She's broken in now! How do you like that Skid Row skid plate? Seems like they're just about the only folks making skid plates for the JK for far. Curious to know how thick the sheet metal is, is it a complete bolt-on, etc?

My factory skid plates show similar "character lines"!;)

I'm pretty sure Skidrow is the only Eng/Tranny Skid out there, it's a must, I stood this Skidplate on quite a few Big Rock's and it reminds me of my Tank in the "Nam". Strong, very Strong and gives you a piece of mind. He has more Skids coming soon, Canister, LCA's, Gas Tank Skid, etc, etc,.....I can't wait to wear them all. I think I would of survived that day without them.

These skid plates are made of 3/16" thick steel that is laser cut and CNC folded for consistent quality that sets the standard for Jeep skid plates. They are also reinforced with a second layer of 3/16" thick steel just below the exhaust system to provide plenty of strength while easily clearing your exhaust system. Our skid plates are abrasive-blasted prior to being powder-coated to assure that the finish adheres better than our competitor's coatings. We use a semi-gloss black for an attractive finish that's easy to touch up when necessary.
