How the hell does Jeep expect anyone to remain within the payload capacity of a jeep?

The listed payload of a 4DR Rubi is 892 lbs. Add tires, bumper (front), winch and sliders, and my wife and I can no longer legally take our daughter camping. Am I missing something?

The max payload is listed as occupants and cargo.

Weigh the Jeep as equipped, full of fuel, but with no occupants or cargo.
The difference between that and your vehicle's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating will be your new payload capacity, up to the listed payload capacity.
