I have the compass/thermometer package in the dash. The compass works fine, but the thermometer stays at 42 F all the time. It just started this today, worked before. I used another thermometer to measure the temp. by the rig so I know 42 F is not correct. Does anyone know where the sensor is for this device? Or has anyone else had this problem?

Mine did that to for about two days. I was wheeling up in morris mountain and everything was covered in dust after cleaning everything good it worked

I tried your suggestion and it worked, wiped the sensor with clean, dry rag and it changed temps and seems to be OK. Thank you very much, I did not want to take it to the dealer.

Where is the sensor located?

It is mounted to the lower front fascia behind the radiator grille and in front of the engine compartment.

It cannot be adjusted or repaired, just replaced.
