I just stumbled along this Jeep forum online and thought I just introduce myself.
I have a Unlimited Sahara, '07. About to put a 3" FT Ultimate lift on my girl.
I have KM2's and procomp 8179's waiting in the garage for her.:bounce:

look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome. Post pics of the ride when you get a chance.
I will post pics as soon as I have stuff done to it.
Should be within the next couple of weeks. I expect to have my lift kit in next week sometime. I basically have nothing to show, besides a stock Black Sahara. Love my rig, but the damn Soccer Mom's here in San Antonio with there JK's are getting to me.
Can't even get a wave back from any of them!!!:thefinger:

Thank you for welcoming me to the site, it looks awesome:D
Welcome.

I'm here in SA also and have the FT 3" Ultimate lift as well. What part of town are you in? Let me know if you need a hand installing it, depending on when you do it, I might be able to help.

In my experience, girls never wave (JKGirl and Peaches excepted). :shaking:
Welcome to the forum!
Welcome! Come on in and have a seat.

LOL! I know what you mean. There's a few JKs running around here. When I wave to them, they look at me with that "do I know that person?" look on their face. Seems like the only people who wave are in the modified YJs and TJs.
Welcome.

Duke,

Did you install yours? I live in Timberwood Park, north of SA.
I have never installed a lift kit by myself, not sure if I have all the tools.
I had a lifted Avalanche, but had it done by a 4X4 shop.
I'll supply the beer :beer:and BBQ;)

Well,I am sure as the YJ's and TJ's upgrade you will see the wave coming back. I am sure they will see how versatile the Unlimited is.
Once Jeep brought in the 4 door, I knew they were going to open up their audience and see more non-offroaders buy 'em.
Come to think of it, I'm one of them!!!:grinpimp:

But the 4 door makes it a more practical vehicle for the family and the 4X4 world is interesting to me.
Reminds me of my military days. I didn't climb any rocks, but plenty of trails in the jungle.
Welcome to the party....
Welcome :smokin:

If you get a chance, come on out to K-Rocks on May 3-4, it will be a lot of fun.

Phil,

K-Rocks looks awesome, but I think I need to home in my offroading skills a little more before trying those obstacles.
I clicked on your link and it looks awesome. I am in the midst of putting 35's and I am waiting for my lift to arrive in the mail.
Definitely want to relo my evap cannister and put on some skidplates.
And before you say, your JK can do more than you think, I am with you.
But those are some steep rocks, and want to protect my baby a little more before attempting that.:D

I will be venturing out more on some of the easier trails, so I hope to be seeing you soon.:beer::beer:

Thanks,
Dutch

There are actually plenty of easy trails at K-Rocks that stock Jeeps do all day long, but I hear you about skid plates.
First thing I need to do is get more involved with the local clubs here in San Antonio. After that I will feel more confident on the trails and with the experts around me.
I would prefer to stick around the Jeep specific group or a JK specific group. JK, because everybody will be driving a new Jeep and will take care of it a little better of their property.
So, you will see me at K-Rocks sometime this year, hopefully.
We'll have a predominantly Jeep group running Long Ranch in Llano during the Summer every 4-6 weeks. The trails are pretty easy, the obstacles are as hard as you want them to be.

How do you get the message out? Do you keep a distribution list of e-mails, or just post on the forum?
How do you get the message out?
Secretly ;) After K-Rocks in May, keep an eye on the Events section and I'll be out at Long ranch every 4-6 weeks or so.
