Howdy. New to this JK forum, so far I really like the look of the skin and the fact that this is here --->:mr-t: is awesome.

Im in Afghanistan, bought my first Jeep over here from an ENSC dealer and am waiting to get home and get bitten. Well thats not true, the Jeep Bug has already bit, Ive got a few things already ordered and waiting at home.

When I get home in April hopefully Ill be able to share alot more insight and pictures as I mod the Rubi, but untill then Ill most likely lurk, read, and ask a few Q's.

Well thats it, CHEERS!!

Welcome aboard, you are going to love your JK when you get home. I'm going to assume you are military and want to say Thank You for your service.
Welcome to the site MaRShiN. This is a pretty cool place to hang out.

Are you in the military or a contractor?

Stay safe over there!
Ex-Military turned Contractor. I did 5 years in the Army (Signal Corps), got barred from re-enlistment (oops) and was home not 2 months b4 I found a job to come here. Been here 11 months, 7 to go!!

I install, program and repair Motorola Radios. XTS/XTL/Astro/Spectra/Quantar and the likes, pretty boring actually.
Welcome to the forum!

When you get to sac we get your JK dirty! :bounce:
Looking forward to that. Ive never owned a 4WD before tho. Ive been looking at taking the Nevada ORE classes to learn the basics of wheeling and winching, ever heard of them or recommend taking a class like that?
I have heard of them. http://www.offroadexperience.com/ I know of a few that have taken the classes, mostly from Europe. I won't say it is a bad thing and I'm sure that even I could learn a tidbit or two from one and there is obviously some 101 they cover that everyone *should* know. But I think those of us that take you under the wing could help you learn as well. Plus you can save some of your advanced classes money and buy your mentors some pizza and beer. :D
Funny, one of the things we were considering doing with this site is doing 'wheelin 101' courses. Considering the fact that I am the 2007 W.E. Rock National Rock Crawling champ, I figured I could probably teach a thing or two. ;) Stay tuned for more info!

And welcome!
:thefinger: No way man, I've seen your Jeep! :thefinger:

Actually sounds like a fantastic idea! As DC is predicting the JK is attracting a whole new market and many first time Jeepers.

I'm all for it as long as graduation doesn't involve a blindfold and some large rocks. :smokin:

Force you must use grasshopper. Guide you it will. Oh sorry, combined the two.:D

Welcome to the forum MaRShiN. I'ms sure you don't need those classes. I'm willing to bet someone, like Michael, will take the time to teach you. I'd offer to, but I don't know anything anyway, I just pretend I do:D
Thanx for the warm welcome and advice! I have WAY too much free time over here (see post in "other vehicle") and read ALOT. Hopefully Ill be able to learn alot in the next 7 months and put it all together when I get home with the help of some fellow jeepers.

Hey wait a minute - aren't you the one that turned us onto those Funtrek - Backroads and Trail Guides??

They are great! Got them all bound - We've used four of them already and planning a trip to use the 5th!

Guilty as charged.:skull:

Wait, you mean that even with them bound you've destroyed 4 and are going to buy a fifth!!?? Or you mean that you have four for four different states and are planning to add another to your collection?
