Ordered my new head unit today, Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD off Amazon. Bought the iPod cable and install stuff for it as well as some polyfill and dynamat for stock speaker enclosures. Got a pretty decent price I must say. Don't worry fellow JKOers, I will be performing a FULL write up on install when I get home! This will be the first of many write ups on my entire audio system in the jeep, along w/ back up camera write up and all that jazz.

Next step is to actually make it home in one piece!

I got it mainly because it was a good priced unit, I trust Pioneer as those are the H/Us I've always used, and you could add alot to it if you wanted. I didn't need the bluetooth or sirius or HD radio or any of that other stuff, so this one suits my needs and looks great! I hope it turns out okay for me, I went the Amazon route and got the iPod interface cable, the H/U complete, the double din mounting kit, and the wiring harness all for about $515 shipped. Not too bad I must say.
