I've been really wanting to get my winch mounted up on my JK so I just went ahead and did it today.

I had already stubbied the front so it just needed some cutting up on the top to make room for the plate. I've had the plate and winch laying around for quite some time now. I still need to order a motor and controller for it and get some better bolts for the permanent mount.

Like It I too am in this stock stubby winch club.
Still waiting to build my own front bumper.

Thanks guys. I'm still trying to figure out a good clean way to attach the plastic, right now it's just a couple screws but I'm sure it would rip off at the first sight of a rock.
