Finally pulled the trigger on some new shoes. My old BFG AT KO 265/70 R 17s had almost 100k on them and were starting to lose air all the time as well as pulling all over the road when I would brake. I went with the P 285/70 instead of the LT285 because its lighter in weight which will help on not having to re gear it at the moment. Not to mention the P has a 65,000 tread warranty vs the LT with 50,000. These tires actually weigh 2 pounds less than the BFG's were and are bigger. 44 pounds for 33s isn't to shabby. I'm really suprised how well these little dudes balanced only needing 1.50oz at most for one of the tires. My BFG'S never did that well new. Tires are really quite and smooth too. I ran 35 psi in my 265s and that seem to do pretty good for tire wear but, was wondering what a 285 on a JKU should be ran at? My rims are 17x9.
