These are just the mockups, I'll be starting the actual build next week. The goal is to be able to move the trunk to any setting I want within 5 min, without having to leave bits and pieces anywhere.

Ignore the metal cross-beams. They're just there to support the mockup pieces.

Probably the default setting. The back seat is under the trunk.


Back seat flipped forward for extra trunk storage space.


I have friends. They like riding in my Jeep.

i built a similar setup in my old yj. what i did was make a piece similar to what you did out of a sheet of plywood, had notches for the rollbar, i then cut it down the middle (front of jeep to back) then put a hinge on it, i then got some foam and covered th etop in foam and the wraped in some vynal over the hinged part also. To take it off just pull up the middle a bit so it can slide out of around the roll bar
