Background on my purchase:
One of the last 08 Sahara 2 doors from the dealership. Build date is June 2008. I haven't checked the firmware version yet but if i need to update, should my dealer just take care of it? Shouldn't be a big deal since i get the first oil change for free, no time loss on my end.

Symptoms:
1. HDD music will freeze from time to time.
2. Importing my files via USB drive, seems to sort by song name instead of track number. Tried to change this but only to revert back on its own.
3, Boom Factor - Need more boom so that I can shatter windows at the rice car drivers, you know the large spoiler kids that drive your typical Chevy Cobalt (laughter insert here) I want my trunk and license plate to rattle.
The Led Zeppelin sounds great in my stock, in fact wouldn't change a thing which is a very high mark from my experience.

Maybe I should read the manual again but this seemed straight forward

firmware fixes the first two problems, I did mine rather than waiting on the dealer.

I thought it was just me, I routinely have mine pegged and still think it isn't loud enough :shaking:

I picked my '08 up from the dealer after some front end service last week and the hard drive was wiped clean. 600 plus songs gone. Photo's still there. Still haven't figured out how they did it. It would almost have to be intentional. Not an easy mistake to make, plus it wasn't there for MyGig so they shouldn't have touched it anyway.

If anyone has an explanation for that one, I'd love to hear it.
