First time in 30 years this Cj2a has seen sunlight.

However, I was not able to get it on the trailer the first day, I went back the next day to try to get it on without running out of day light. Looks to be a good project vehicle since it has been garage kept and all of the parts are here along with several spare axles and other random parts.

I thought this might be worth sharing.

hmmm
musta been repainted (mine was a few times)
emerald green wasnt an option till '49
and I didnt see an axe holder, plus chrome surrounds on the reflectors in the back
Lotsa stuff can get changed in 63 years :D

good luck and I hope you don't find too many surprises like I did!
For example, pulling the rear wheels and finding absolutely NO brake hardware in there at all!
No pads, springs, NOTHIN!

Yeah it got repainted when my dad redid it when he was my age. But he said it was a olive drab color.

I've had a few suprises. Some good and bad and that are just plain wierd.

Like the half of the lug nuts are reverse threaded, but they're all mixed and matched.

But my brakes and stuff are all missing, that's the reason it sat there for that long, because ramming into trees gets old after a while.
