Those who have done this combination, how are you mounting your 20" Rigid Industries E-Series light bars on the newer AEV Premium bumper?

(Yes, I've searched this and other forums)

The existing holes are at an angle, so it looks like some sort of tapered mount/washer/shim needs to be made in order for it to work?

I just mounted the Warn Zeon 10 winch, and now looking to do the Rigid 20" light bar.

Thanks!

You would need to create feet for the brackets. The 10" works perfect!

It was apparent that I would need something to make up the difference in the angle - but without access to a machine shop, I was curious if anyone else had success in mounting using hardware that could be purchased or hand fabricated without major machining.

I have seen where the 10" works with the AEV brackets, but I think the the 20" looks more appropriate inside the hoop - not to mention the additional light it would provide - so I'd like to go that route.

I thought about drilling out 2 stout rubber stoppers and compressing the difference with the mounting bolts, but wouldn't want to put too much force on the mounting feet of the light to where they could break.

I haven't tried it personally, but I've read all you need to do is turn the mounts backwards and it'll bolt right up to the holes for the winch delete plate.

Here is one way to do it...this is our fairlead light bar mount for a 12" light bar modified with a strip of aluminum that I bolted on and extended out for the 20" LED bar.

Based on the setup of the AEV bumper, this should work for you as well.
