I got the new Mopar Hardtop Headliner/Insulation for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (Part No. 82212464AB; pre-2011 have a different part number).

The pieces come flat inside a large box with double-sided adhesive tape that peel off easily for quick installation: they are pre-cut with precision and fit the inside of the hardtop panels perfectly.

It took 30 mins to clean the hardtop surfaces with rubbing alcohol and install all the pieces on my 2-door JK.

The headliner covers the underside of the front and rear roof panels, as well as the areas around the rear quarter windows. The material has a durable look and feel, and a quality dark charcoal finish. The end result is easy, clean and professional.

Although it is also meant to insulate from heat and cold temperatures, driving in mild Southern California weather, the Mopar Headliner noticeably muffles a variety of sharp sounds inside the vehicle, and also reduces wind noise at freeway speeds.

I am very happy it and strongly recommend it.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Pics aren't showing up. I just picked up a new '15 Rubicon Unlimited and have been debating getting the insulation kit.

Looks like the links to your pictures go back to your gmail (so they'll show up for you, but not anyone else). I'm curious to see how it came out!

I re-linked the pix. Let me know if they show this time or not still.

The headliner end result is very clean and professional looking.

BTW, more than "cut down" the noise, it appears to reduce amount of bouncing noise does inside the cabin, providing a somewhat muffled environment.

Your pictures are working now.

I installed the Mopar headliners in my two door JK a few months ago, and I really like them as well. It makes the interior a little more refined.

Headliner

I just installed the MOPAR Headliner kit on my Sahara today. Looks great, I am a little concerned how the tape will hold up in the extreme heat and cold. Anybody with experience with this?

Mopar Headliner

I installed mine 2 years ago on my JKU, has gone through 2 Wisconsin winters and all panels are still tight. The key to quality install is the surface prep. I am glad I did this mod and have enjoyed it.
