Mopar front bumper d-ring mount conversion

This one is pretty quick and easy but here it is anyway...

Converting a Mopar off road bumper from plastic nubs and tow hooks to d-ring mounts.
I used Purejeep mounts but others should work as long as they are for the front of a JK so the bolts line up.

do one side at a time so the bumper doesn't fall off in your lap...

yank the plastic pad off
unbolt the factory towhook
go around the crush cans with an angle grinder or die grinder - they cut off pretty easily
clean up the area with the grinder - gotta be flat so the d-ring mount sits flat on the bumper
spraycan the bare area with duplicolor truck bedliner - color and texture match pretty well
bolt on the shackle mount
repeat for other side
done!

took me about 45 minutes start to finish

Great deal on the bumper. Not heading towards Barnwell Mountain OHV anytime soon? I'm in Shreveport, LA.
