Myself and a handful of others are making the trek from the the Midwest out to Moab. It will be my first trip, but the others have been there many many times. So I think the few of us first timers will have great leaders out there.

For those that have been before, what is some advice for us first-timers?

Things to pack, things to watch out for, tips or tricks to make the day go smooth while wheeling, etc.

Thanks, I did buy that guide book and am reading it now. It's a great resource. Attached is my Jeep. 2013 Sport, 2.5" on 35's. 4.56, rear e-locker, front Truetrac. Most of our rigs are very similar with a few of the elders fully locked and on 37-38s. They like to do the hard stuff! So I will probably sit out on those days or see if anyone else from the group is running scenic routes on the days they are doing the most difficult trails.

Thanks for the list, I'm going to get to work on that. Specifically what spare joints? u-joints for the front axles and both drive shafts I assume?

I am going to bring my Tube doors and keep my full doors in the condo garage for the whole trip, remove my back seat for cargo since it'll just be me, keep my soft top up or down with a webshade cover at least.

Also, I would like to get some sort of GPS set up with maps. Do you use anything like that Slippery?
