this is just some steel rod, some cheap mirrors from AutoZone, a handfull of 3 hole gussets from www.aa-mfg.com and a table foot and wing nut from home depot.
Don't mind the clear tape, they were still a little sticky and I had to put them on to drive to work.

The front of the bracket drops down and it sandwiches the existing door hinge.
steel rod goes in the hinge and on the back is a wing nut welded to the screw of a adjustable table foot with a nut welded to the bracket
I slip it in the hinge and tighten the foot and it clamps it in place and does not move
here is what the gussets I used looked like
I have tons of them around and speed holes make everything better
