It actually is very normal. It is what happens when you rotate your axle, which has the spring base on it, but do not rotate the spring base back to it's original location.I recently installed the 3.5 Game Changer on my 2016 JKU RHR and noticed the bowing of the rear springs while stationary. Is this normal? Wouldn't the bowing effect unevenly weaken the springs. If so, shouldn't this be part of that lift so as to not let the spring prematurely fail/sag?
For the most part, it is not an issue. Your kit will perform as promised, and the springs will last as designed.
This new kit is for the JK Owner who wants to add a little extra, because he can, and straighten out those coils. It's an option, not a requirement.
