Hello all.

I am currently looking to add two 4 inch round LED lights to my bumper. The factory lights are not very bright. I live out in the country and go to college in the country, so I am looking for something to help illuminate the road ahead and to the sides. I want to also make sure I will not be over driving the lights.

The spot lights have a 30 deg output and the flood lights have a 60 deg output.
I am looking to do one on each side of the car.

Which would you suggest? Or would you suggest one of each? (ie. spot on drivers side and flood on passengers side?)

Thanks. Fred

Get a combo bar LED... I run Dually floods instead of factory fogs on the street- cant even notice if my headlights are on.

Off the trail i use a 40" combo from TWF... brighter spots than the 50" spots sold on the net.

Thanks for the responce. :)

Im trying to find something inexpensive and not looking for off-road use. I am looking for the small size to be discrete and am just worried about overdriving. Have found a few cheap options of 4 inch round.

LED Power: 42 Watts - 2520 Lumens
Flood Beam Pattern - 60 Degree

LED Power: 27 Watts - 2150 Lumens
Flood Beam Pattern - 60 Degree

Power: 27W
Light type: condenser (30 degrees), flood (60 degrees)
Lumen: 2150Lumen

LED Power: 27W
Lumens:2150 Lumens
Dia:4" Round 30°spot beam

LED Power: 18W
Optional Beam: 30 degree
4 inch bar

18w spot beam(30degree)
4.5" diameter
1350 lumens

Thoughts? Thanks.

TWF...

Trail Worthy Fab is a vendor here... look up his light bar thread. Guarantee youll have something in your pricerange that will hook right into your fogs.
I cant use big round lights, as I need all the air flow I can get. So I went with LEDs... also never have to worry about losing a filament or ballast FWIW

Thank you so much for your help sir. :)

I looked on the website, There are only two options under 100 dollars.

One is a 2 inch pro series light which is just flood pattern.
And the other is a 6 inch trail series that is just spot pattern.

So again, what is the better choice, or one of each. I'm trying to get a functional light for safety on a college student buget. :p

For the money I am going to give Black Box Logistics a shot. I got my eye on these to replace my aging halogen a pillar lights.

Awesome. Thanks for the link. I know I sound dumb. I know very little about aux lights for cars. Though I do know how to wire them. :)

The link you send me is for 10 deg spots.

I am planning on putting mine on a bumper and the options I have found are for 30 deg spots or 60 deg floods.

So I was thinking either both floods, help you see in woods for animals, but not far down the road.
Both spots, can't see well on sides of road but can see far ahead.
Or spot on drivers side to see far away, and flood on pass side to illuminate the woods for animals.

Are you suggesting that getting the spots are the way to go?
(sorry to type so much)
