Borla loses power. This motor likes back pressure so staying with the stock headers maintains that.the stock manifolds dont last, they keep cracking. why stay away form Borla? You guys dont think RIPP are over priced? Worth the extra money?
:thankyou:My friend just installed the Ripps and there is no gain other than they won't crack anymore.
Those look eerily similar to the Borla long tubes. I would not get them...And boom goes the dynamite (found them on amazon)

No cats, would never pass inspection.OBX Racing makes a set of long tubes, saw them on Ebay for around $400.
No clue whether they work or not.
No matching tune wouldn't be really helpful either. No cats, would never pass inspection.
You can always have some welded in.No cats, would never pass inspection.
this makes me wonder how many states do the exhaust sniff test, MA has not done it for years,,, i ran my sliverado for 9 years with out cats and never once did the inspection sta even check to see if i had them,, same with the wifes car and my jeep inspection stations never check for cats.No cats, would never pass inspection.
My Dakota R/T has been run for 8 years without cats. Only sim boxes to keep the lights on the dash from lighting up, passes the OBD2 test everytime.this makes me wonder how many states do the exhaust sniff test, MA has not done it for years,,, i ran my sliverado for 9 years with out cats and never once did the inspection sta even check to see if i had them,, same with the wifes car and my jeep inspection stations never check for cats.
