I cant seem to scour up any feedback or installations of the MetalCLoak highline fenders. very few pics too.

Looking for feedback on the install and long term ownership.

does anyone have pics of the fenders with the outer edges removed (front and rear)?

with the rear fenders, you are tied into their side armor as well. which does not really include rear corners. The rear corners seem a little funk-o in that you need to purchase their taillights too and have a unique aluminum edge link. does the corner armor actually work on the corners?

thanks

Ive got both front and rears on mine. The fit was pretty damn good on both ends. They are crazy rigid..im every bit of 245lbs and have stood on them without any noticable flexing. They have done their job of keeping the tub off rocks and trees very well.

I think the best feature of these fenders is that they can hold several beer cans. I usually set up my bar on them at camp:gluging:

Overlands or Overlines?

My only gripe with either is that neither were available in aluminum when my wallet was ready.

The Overland is now available in aluminum. My wallet got emptied on PSCs.

right. I forgot they make the overlands in aluminum now. Mine are the older overlines.

I have the 2 piece fronts and have had them for 2 years or so now. They are very stout. Without the outers, my tires threw a ton of road/trail much on the jeep (more of an issue on the road really). I rarely take the outers off of them now. I do not have the MC rears. I smack the rear fenders enough to not want to have to refinish them all the time. Just pick up the plastic one and throw it back on or in the back of the jeep.

My wife has the newer one piece on her jeep (both front and rear). If I were doing it again I would probably go with the one piece both front and rear.

Over lines are what I'm after for the tire clearance. I may run 40s at some point and the over lands do not have the same clearance.

Beyond that, a set of,poison spider aluminum fenders would work.
