Yea, that's on my mind, too man. I may postpone the job I line up tomorrow (Sat.) and use the day as a 'catch up' day...get the front tires balanced again, get an alignment, do some errands, pay some bills, etc. Sort of depends on the weather, so again...we'll see. My trackbar looked good, so I don't know. One thing at a time for now, lol!

Thanks for the feedback though. Deep down, I know it revolves around the trackbar!!

Headed out to buy my 4x4 beach permit today. Then probably going to take a ride out to Democrat Point. My friend will be there with his TJ, and my dad will be there with his JKU. Anybody wanna meet up ou there?

Reminder! You will only have 2 more weekends to purchase permits, after that you have to wait till the end of the summer.

I am jeepless at this time but by late summer I will have sold my Durango & purchased a JKU. I see pics of various bumpers with NY plates. My question is whether there is a restriction on bumper width in NY? Are stubbies ok?
Knock on wood, no tickets on my stubby Teraflex Epic.
I stubbied my TJ's front bumper with no problems.

Ii was out there last weekend during low tide and it didn't look that bad....were you able to drive to the end.......
If you're talking about the bar, yeah I drove all the way out and it actually hooks around a little bit.

If you're talking about that break in the wall out back, my old man just reminded me about seeing that from the Laura Lee last fall. Still curious how that much rock was moved back there.

Trusted Shop(s) on LI?

I'm debating on purchasing a Rubicon or maybe the least expensive JKU I can find and modifying it. I am 60 and don't know if I want to tackle all these projects myself. To start with I would like to regear if I went with an X. Is there a trusted shop around that does this work? Some of the other things I could do myself.

Thanks in advance.

Call Evan at 516-384-5349. We all use him. Very skilled, good prices, and a real jeeper.

Tell him Adam sent you.

Oh, and my vote is for a Rubicon. Most fun you can have out of the box!
