I spotted JKStell on the side of Lakeland Ave today. Unfortunately I was passing in a Corolla so you wouldn't have known it was a Jeeper. Jeep looks cool.

 

That's awesome! Well, I say "hey"! I was actually pulled over on the side of Lakeland taking a couple pics of that red Monster Truck in the driveway a few houses north of Church St., lol! Turns out it's a friend of mine, haha...

Thanks for the compliment! So far so good...just wired my Hella 500FF's up today on the a-pillar brackets - brighter than I expected them to be! It's certainly coming along...

As for a fellow Jeeper being in a vehicle OTHER than their Jeep, I understand. I don't drive my Jeep all the time, and when I don't I have to stop myself from waving at Wranglers! I get a lot of head nods, waves, smiles, and thumbs up from people in cars, trucks, vans, etc. - nothing close to a Wrangler - so in the back of my mind, I know there's AT LEAST a lil' bit of Jeeper in them, maybe they own one, too!

About 2 hrs away in jersey. Definitely stock friendly I've done it stock. Nothing difficult just a fun day on some trails with some good people. Plus its for a good cause

not a huge fan of water :hide: i am considering it tho, is a snorkel necessary ?

 

Pine barrens is definitely stock friendly, but could get ugly in a hurry. LOTS of water and mud.

Hey Brian, I have two sets of terraflex rear coil spacers that I dont need. Both 1 inch. One has the coil guide one does not. The guide would be good for you since it would keep your stock coils inline. Let me know if you want them.

Anyone out there have a Bike rack that clears the larger tires. Ide like to grab one for the summer, and could use some reccomendations .

Spotted the guy that bought racer83l's rear bumper today behind TJ Finley's in Bay Shore. Jeep looked good, but you need a winch in that big hole in the bumper!

I got a warn M8000 with a wireless remote on its way.
I also need a new front driveshaft. The joint at the Xfer case is flinging oil and it hit the tranny pan a few times it seems.

There's a thread jeeping for josie poker run in the north east section give the first post a look its constantly updated. I think its like 20 $ last I checked. Well worth it its a good cause.

Should your breathers be raised, yea. Is it a necessity before this run, prob not. Just don't go in anything too deep, I'm not aware of the conditions down there right now. I'm trying to make this run I just have some stuff that has to get done first

 

sounds good, also im gonna give ok4wd a call tomorrow and see if they have any aev snorkels in stock(got my dad to go half with me on it)and maybe put a order threw, then water wouldnt scare me anymore

 

yea the breathers are pretty easy once you figure out where the tranny and tcase ones are, and how you plan on getting in there

 

order the aev snorkel today from ok4wd, should be here tomorrow :bounce::bounce: how hard is the install?

its pretty easy, straight foward, its just the cut that's....:devil:

definitely do the breathers if you are going to have the snorkel. You will think you can go in deep stuff with the snorkel but without the breathers you really cant. and if you do get stuck in some deep water your diffs tcase tranny will fill with water

 

Run breathers to snorkel.

what about the rear axle breather up threw the body?

 

There is a good write up u should check out- runs up through the body and u can end it in the taillight.

 

I ran that one into & behind the right rear tail light.

Hey guys, anyone know any good fabricators in the NYC/LI area? I bought an AEV tire carrier and found out that hard way that it won't fit a 15" wheel. I need to have the wheel mount offset by about an inch for the tire carrier to work properly. Otherwise, there will be a brand new AEV tire carrier posted in the for sale section soon. haha.
