This is the Long Island thread. Post up whats happening on Long Island
He doesn't seem like he wants to get on the phone and chit chat, so I see where you're coming from. In my experience, I've ordered a bunch of stuff from him and when I needed help he provided it and when I needed something corrected, he corrected it.I am not a fan or (fanboy if you will:rainbow2of Northridge. I bought quite a lot of shit from them last year and felt like David was always so cold on the phone. I figure its because he gets so many assholes from JKF who have no idea what they are talking about, but he still gets to take their money. I'm just saying I don't think his phone manners are good. How about that new building he's putting up? They should call it the house that WOG built!

honestly i like going directly through the manufacturer. no middle man.BB, who's your vendor of choice?
I just ordered the d-ring insert for the receiver hitch, 9000 lb rated for 10 bucks for another tow/recovery point for the rear.. I have ordered from HF over the past few years, just have to watch the quality on certain items but most of it has been ok. I told them they needed a store on LI about a year ago...now if they can get on in Suffolk...If anyone knows about Harbor Freight Tools, they opened one up in Hempstead. Going there with a couple guys from the club at 8:30AM. Cheap tools, some work great, some don't. Cool nonetheless.
I love my 19.99 24" Open end adjustable wrench. Most of the stuff they carry is Chinese junk. There's a couple gems in that store that are worth the couple of cents.
