Great purchase. They are cool looking wheels, even though not as classic as the Pintlers. AEV must hate those wheels though. They have one picture of them on their entire website.

The one thing that JKF has is Northridge... The site is terrific, the prices are the best, and service is perfect. I can't seem to find (almost) everything in one spot the way you can on NR4x4 without going to a big-box 4WD site. My next brand new purchase will have to be from a JKO vendor, but I will be skeptical unfortunately...

I am not a fan or (fanboy if you will:rainbow2:) of Northridge. I bought quite a lot of shit from them last year and felt like David was always so cold on the phone. I figure its because he gets so many assholes from JKF who have no idea what they are talking about, but he still gets to take their money. I'm just saying I don't think his phone manners are good. How about that new building he's putting up? They should call it the house that WOG built!:D
He doesn't seem like he wants to get on the phone and chit chat, so I see where you're coming from. In my experience, I've ordered a bunch of stuff from him and when I needed help he provided it and when I needed something corrected, he corrected it.

Well ladies and gentlemen.. I think im all good as far as drive shafts go.. I popped it on today since it was a slow day and so far no vibes up to 60MPH... Didnt get to go faster because the roads are all trafficy and wet.. Ill give a final report when I can.

It used to vibrate BAD starting at only 40

Northridge sucks. his prices arent any cheaper. and his "free shipping" is factored into the price. and he only carries jkf friendly garbage. and he isnt a nice guy at on top of that. try buying from real vendors that sell every brand. most of them if you give them a call they will help you out with shipping.

HOORRRAAAYYYY joe can wheel now.

anyone up for the black friday run to rc :bounce:

I might be going, not lifted though...:bawling: I'm all skidded up though.:bounce: Probably have my friend with me in his TJ Rubicon, lifted 33's and flat fenders.

i have some welding projects i want to get done this winter....custom tube fenders welded to the bumpers/rails/frame. and I also want to do a cage, not sure which one. I like the weld in cages (river raider and poly) the poly's floor tie ins are SOLID. And there's always the or-fab, too many choices :bounce:

BB, who's your vendor of choice?
honestly i like going directly through the manufacturer. no middle man.

But I like 4wd.com because I have a 10% discount there :grinpimp: RDM offroad, trail duty is awesome too. Polyperformance sells more than just their own products also  And if I need something immediately and dont mind getting raped for shipping Qtec.

polys stuff is pretty expensive, depending on what part youre talking about, but not much more than anyone else out there. If you look at the specs of whatever youre buying, usually, poly uses a thicker steel, it is EXTREMELY well engineered and made here in the USA. Thats worth the extra $ in my book

what are you looking to buy maybe we can help point you in the right direction

I try to go straight to the manufacturer. I get dealer list price at Randy's Ring and Pinion, Westbury Jeep, TeraFlex and Rough Country. 10% at Quadratec, 4WD, Tom Woods Driveshafts, and a few others I can't remember. Good to be in the club and good to have Evan as a good friend.

5-point harnesses shipped. :bounce:

They look like Goodyear Duratracs. Good street tires actually, an aggresive A/T or soft M/T, however you look at it.

If anyone knows about Harbor Freight Tools, they opened one up in Hempstead. Going there with a couple guys from the club at 8:30AM. Cheap tools, some work great, some don't. Cool nonetheless.

I just ordered the d-ring insert for the receiver hitch, 9000 lb rated for 10 bucks for another tow/recovery point for the rear.. I have ordered from HF over the past few years, just have to watch the quality on certain items but most of it has been ok. I told them they needed a store on LI about a year ago...now if they can get on in Suffolk...

Bunch of off roaders (Jeeps and others) are meeting at Lowes in Medford (Exit 64 off LIE) Tomorrow at 1PM. Talkin about a little wheelin afterwards. This is the forum that Racer83 mentioned a few weeks ago.
