I did just that and went with jks, and with the money I saved I got their weld on axle braces (front and rear). It may be a pain in the ass but how many times do you plan on adjusting your track bar?
I don't have any experience with Teraflex but the "monster" series is overkill in my opinion. I am very happy with my jks trackbars. Here are the braces I was referring too. The nice thing about the front brace is that it has provisions to flip your steering stabilizer and raise the actual trackbar mount for use with a high steer kit. The back one was absolutely necessary in my opinion due to high high rate of the rear stock trackbar bracket being knocked off the axle. http://www.quadratec.com/products/16007_005.htm http://www.quadratec.com/products/16007_0100.htm
Additionally, you can buy the jks front trackbar and brace for the same price as just the poly trackbar alone.
Yea looks like im sure as hell not getting the day off. A whole bunch of days off got denied for this weekend. Our big boss is deciding to **** with us all. You all enjoy the trip and show some tatas for me hahaha
I had a great time, nice to wheel with you all again. Seth im gonna take it for an alignment soon if they cant dial it in ill come grab that tie rod from ya. Im also looking at rock krawlers tie rod. After further inspection if I didnt have my steering stabilizer flipped it would have been crushed. The stock mounting location is pinched shut and my stabilizer is all banged up anyway from hitting the axle tube when the tie rod moved back
and me and chris took a tour of Broadway on the way home stupid GPS
good times at rausch , glad joe , n can made it out with their jk's bb it was a blast with you as usual , damn those gps's oh seth nice to see you too , fun watching you play jump jeeps lol
i had a GREAT TIme...THANKS GUYS!...my bro took some video...mainly of only my JK...and they pretty much came out like crap...lol...and i must say..getting stuck in that ditch...really scared the crap out of me...lol...i thought i was going over for a second there...oh well...theres a first for everything..haha...thanks again u guys! it was nice seeing u!
That is my pet peeve with GPS systems.. they should ALWAYS avoid NYC unless the address you type in is in NYC....
Good to see everyone made it home ok.
And Chris, your BJ still making noise??
I did some research after BB was speaking about PP making greasable BJ's they look good.. I will be using those once mine are shot. (And they are $250, 1/2 of those INSANE priced Pro-steer ones Seth had to run)
At the time, price aside it was the best option. If the Poly Performance ones were out around the time I bought the pro-steers I would have probably ended up with them. Whatever.
I'd really like to see the Poly Performance ones in person. They look nice and beefy in pictures.
You can't always avoid Manhatten because the GWB goes through it. I just think they should overlook the Lincoln Tunnel and have better signage at the Holland tunnel.
had an alignment today all is good, tie rod is a little bent but its fine for now and my steering wheel is centered for the first time in probably 2 years
I just bit the bullet and ordered LCA's and a track bar, both from teraflex. I gotta dial in my front end. I added gussets too for good measure. Now where did I put Evan's number...
Anybody interested in a pair of IPF 900xss Driving Lights?
They are brand new, never used, and in the box. They sell for $250.00.
I'll take $200. IF nobody is interested I'm going to put them in the for sale section.
